But you made nice point for finding a usage for CD that I couldn’t find any before Still, if QoH appears with other mass minion makers I would use a sniper to kill QoH’s minion and then kill other minions with Skadi for her extra stacks or cGormek for his guaranteed minion-destroying and extra healing. The downside with him though is his hit is too weak to kill minions of other heroes, and usually QoH appears alone and not together with mass minion makers, and also QoH is so rarely seen in defense to give CD an opportunity to be used in raid team. Hey Draerius It took me a moment to realize that you were in the old alliance Blackmagic and used to be in the same guild in Gemstones Legends with me I ate Captain Diamonds a long time ago (lol), but you are right about him being particularly useful against QoH as he destroys her minion with the taunt first so he could chain to another hero with minions. She it isn’t a taunt diamonds kills the minion and continues to attack other targets. But it’s interesting to know the mechanism behind her taunt is that it comes from her minion not from a buff, that makes her quite peculiar.ĭo you have diamonds Hugh? That is my best counter to QOH if the opponent has more than one minion creator. Still, we don’t see her in defense often cause more people have BK and Krampus than her. The 2nd is when in equalizer war, if the equalizer is ready next turn and an attacker, say Alfrike, is about to fire, then BK and Krampus can do nothing to stop her cause their taunt will be removed next turn, but QoH’s taunt cannot be removed so all Alfrike’s cubes will hit QoH, and the whole team of QoH is safe. The 1st is when Cailin (the 5* holy slayer) or Ametrine (4* purple ninja) dispels BK’s and Krampus’ taunt first so they can hit all heroes as usual, but they can’t dispel QoH’s taunt so they can only hit QoH. However, I believe QoH can be more effective at taunting than BK or Krampus in some scenarios. But you’re right about bringing a sniper to counter QoH. I would only bring cGormek to counter mass minion makers like Freya or Bera, not to kill just one minion of QoH. I don’t have Bera to block her minion nor Noor nor Devana to instantly destroy it. Usually in order to deal with taunters I use healer-dispeller (Melendor, Sabina) combined with Malosi and/or Mist, so that works well for me against BK and Krampus but is completely futile against QoH. The problem with me is that I rarely use snipers in general and prefer to use 3-hitters so I had hard time killing QoH’s minion. Although, with Malosi, I can negate the later 2. I don’t see her often, but I’d prefer dealing with her on the defense rather than Krampus or Black Knight. Yes, but a sniper can easily take out the minion… or Gobbler, or cGormek for that matter. Really game? Just why would you even do that? Obviously it is a buff but the game doesn’t want to call it a buff and don’t even want to call it by any name whatsoever, not even an effect or a stack or passive ability or passive skill or anything, and even wants to HIDE it from the hero pop-up info window. I have used Mist to fight Baldur before and she could prevent Baldur from having “brawler” buff and “direct mana reduction immunity” even though Baldur was having boosted health because those two are treated as positive effects, therefore as buffs so Mist could prevent those.īut this taunt, received from QoH’s minion, is surely a positive effect, but is not treated as such (and I don’t know what it is either). So the game doesn’t recognize the taunt that QoH’s minion gives her as a buff nor an effect but just a… “something” I don’t even know what it is or how to even call it. It’s weird because taunt is a positive/beneficial effect and a positive effect that is beneficial to its bearer is obviously a buff so taunt is a buff because that’s what a buff is: a positive/beneficial effect.
